IGN117

Tomb IGN117 is located on the eastern front of the main massif of the AlAhmar necropolis. The facade features two rows of crowsteps, a cornice, a torus molding, an attic, and an architrave resting on angular pilasters. The entrance is framed by pilasters with a low-arched pediment that is heavily eroded. The interior consists of a single main chamber with one pit tomb, mostly filled with sand and various materials. The tomb was constructed for a woman named Hīnat and her descendants.
