Ithlib

The Ithlib massif, located northeast of Hegra, is characterised by a complex of rock-cut structures, including two triclinia and twenty-one sanctuaries, niches, and basins. This complex is not a necropolis but served as a caravanserai and entry point for caravans accessing the necropolises and residential areas. The Ith20 triclinium (also known as IGN16 or Diwan) is located at the beginning of the canyon in the western sector of the Ithlib massif, while the second triclinium, a smaller diwan, is situated further south of the massif.
