IGN116

Tomb IGN116, a type without a facade, is carved into the concave area of the eastern slope of the principal massif of the AlAhmar necropolis. The tomb is elevated on the massif due to a high sand dune facilitating access. It consists of an undecorated rectangular opening with a slightly narrowing profile.

The interior chamber is unfinished, with the back wall and left side showing characteristics of initial excavation. The sandstone in the area is homogeneous with some darker veins and oxide accumulations.
