Khuraymat

The Khuraymat necropolis is situated west of Hegra, near the Sanie necropolis. This funerary complex includes fifty-five tombs spread across five distinct sectors. The tombs, numbered IGN49 to IGN101.1, are carved into several rocky massifs with facades accessible via slopes. These massifs show signs of erosion from water runoff, with visible alterations and cracks. The surrounding area is affected by erosion and capillary rising damp, impacting the conservation of the tombs. This complex is a valuable resource for studying ancient funerary traditions.
